What Causes Breathlessness And Indigestion?

I have been feeling really breathless but I have had no indigestion. The breathlessness does not get worse when I walk. which I do regularly. My doctor has prescribed Omeprezole (40mg) which I have been taking just for a few days but with no real affect.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello dear

Warm welcome to HealthcareMagic.

I have evaluated your query thoroughly.

Breathlessness can be due to various conditions like:

1) Respiratory conditions - bronchitis, pneumonia, effusion or others.

2) Abdominal conditions - distension, raised intra-abdominal pressure from various conditions like liver, diaphragm issues, etc

3) Systemic problems - low hemoglobin, diabetic ketoacidosis or others.

Hope this clears your doubt .

Wishing you fine recovery.

For any further assistance, you can contact me here.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon

Take care
