What Causes Breathlessness And Suffocation?
recently about 5 months ago i have noticed that I have to take deep & long breathe after every 5 minutes,as such now last night before going to sleep,I got a smell of volini pain relief spray.after a few minutes I felt as if I am unable to breathe in,I tried to take deep breathe but then also I felt like suffocating.Can u plz tell me what it could be?

From the symptoms it looks like some kind of allergy .Your respiratory system gets hyperactive with some factors.But usually we get cough along with breathlessness ,which is not there .Still it could be a mild allergic manifestation.
Please do a routine blood investigations to look for eosinophil count etc:
Please do a Chest X-Ray and ECG...
Even anxiety also can cause these symptoms.Consult a physician a get a medical examination
