Hi,
During the period of ovulation and just before
menstruation physiological white discharge can be seen which will be watery to mucoid in nature. Whereas pathological discharge can be of different types like curdy white, greenish in color etc with foul smell, itching usually.
As you have taken the treatment with antibiotic and anti fungal medicines, mild infection will usually get cured. The possible causes of your discharge are:
- The coludy discharge, if it is not associated with smell, itching etc, there is possibility that it is physiological or sometimes reaction to sanitary pads or tampons. If it associated with smell, itching, more in quantity, pathological discharge to be considered. In middle of the menstrual cycle, sometimes during ovulation little spotting can be expected, which can present as brownish discharge.
If you continue to have the discharge in more quantity, with smell and/or itching, better to consult your gynecologist once, get examined and if needed go for vaginal swab for culture and sensitivity. Depending on that you and your partner should be treated simultaneously to prevent the recurrence. Clearing the infection will increase the possibility of conception also.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
