What Causes Bright Light Spotting After Having Sex?

for the first time in my life i experienced some very bright light spotting after having sex. Is this normal this was a week before my cycle which i haven't gotten yet. Before that i wa passing urine every now and then and had pain in my lower abdomen bothe left anf right sides. what could be wrong?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Frequent urination and pain in lower abdomen suggests urinary tract infection.
You need to get urine test for detecting infection.
If infection is present appropriate antibiotic needs to be instituted.
Light spotting after sexual activity could be due to cervical lesion like cervical erosion, ectropion or inflammation.
You need to consult your gynecologist for examination of cervix and perform relevant investigations.
