Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had thin stool for as long as I can remember, I'm 36. I have past some bright red blood 3 times (1st, diarrhea, 2nd, large dry stool) in the past 18 months. After the second time I went for a physical. The doctor told me it looked it looked like a I had a fissure and that bright red blood was usually something not to worry about. Blood work was normal. I recently past a thin stool that felt like sandpaper with a little blood. Should I go back to the doctor and ask for a lower GI?
