What Causes Bright Red Blood In Urine At 6 Weeks Of Pregnancy?

I am 6 weeks pregnant and this morning, I urinated and there was bright red blodd in the toilet blow and on the toilet paper after wiping. There has been no more blood since that episode, I do occassionally get slight cramping in my stomach. Please advise your thoughts?

Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic. I have carefully gone through your case, and I think I have understood your concern. I will try to address your medical concerns and would suggest you the best of the available treatment options.

Firstly I will advise you not to get panic.Small mount of bleeding that has stopped now , is matter to be investigated; but do not be afraid. Get USG done for viability of pregnancy and accurate dating done. Such bleeding occurs due to marginal separation of placental site.Usually for such conditions I suggest -
1. Take adequate rest
2. Tab. PAUSE 500 mg 3 time a day for 5 days.
3. Tab Vitamin C 500 mg twice a day for 5 days.
4. Cap. SUSTEN SR 200 mg twice a day for 5 days.
Please don't panic , everything will sail smoothly.
