Hi. My brother is 16 years old. H suddenly has a pain on his right testicle and his urine came out brown and cloudy... The pain seems unbearable and the doctor says he might have toxic filarial infection or urinary tract infection. Please explain me about is. What should be done at home after he comes back from the hospital?

Hello,

This condition is orchitis with urinary tract infection, the type of pathogen has to be revealed by lab tests . At present, he requires intensive hospital management, later on after returning home have to continue prescribed medicines, scrotal support bandage, maintaining hydration, and balanced nutritious diet.
