What Causes Brown Color Vomiting And Constipation?
my mum is in hospital, since a week last thursday she has vomited at least once day, It was brown in colour she has been constipated but went the toilet in early hours of yesterday morning. At about 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon she was sick again which this time it was black in colour. have you any ideas what could be wrong with her.

Brown color vomiting may be due to bleeding into the upper GI tract. Other possibilities like eating brown color food or bismuth antacid or iron tablets. Use tablet pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. If symptoms not improved, please consult your gastroenterologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
