What Causes Brown Colored Vaginal Discharge During 7 Weeks Of Pregnancy?

Hello, I am having brown discharge, I am 7 weeks pregnant, I went to the doctor three days ago and they did a urine test, a pelvic check, a blood test, and also an ultrasound. Everything came back normal with a heart beat of 122/minute, but I have anxiety and am worrying now because I have skin like tissue, thin, easy to pull apart, not sticky, and not thick, when I wipe, is this normal clearing of old blood in the cervix or Is this something to be worried about?

Hello
Welcome to HCM
Thanks for your query. Brown vaginal discharge around 6 to 7weeks may occur due to implantation bleeding, which is common in some individuals. Don't you worry about this
This occurs due to attachment of fertilised egg to the wall of the uterus..

If there is any fresh bleed along with pain abdomen,, then immediately you need to contact your gynecologist to rule out any miscarriage.

Also I would advice you to ultrasound scans at regular intervals.

Hope I have answered your query.
Thank you
