What Causes Brown Discharge 9 Weeks Postpartum?
I am 9 weeks postpartum. My bleeding had tapered off around 4 weeks and then picked up and finished just shy of 6 weeks. Last week I had what seemed like a menstrual period. This morning I noticed and brown and dark red discharge. It doesn t smell and I have no fever. I am exclusively breastfeeding. This is my 3rd child and was born via c section. What could this discharge be?

Hi, I think it can be your periods also. While breastfeeding, sometimes periods become irregular. So, don't worry about it. Hope I have answered your question.
