What Causes Brown Discharge From Belly Button?
Hi,
I currently have a very painful belly button.
The area is very swollen and tender and looks red.
Sometimes I get a brown liquid oozing out but the pain is not going away.
I have had this twice before and what I think is an abcess burst and loads of liquid came out giving me instant relief.

Hi. This is a classical umbilical granuloma. If this is recurrent you need to see a Surgeon to go for a small surgery to remove it.
