What Causes Brown Discharge, Sporadic Back Pain, Fluttering In Stomach?

Hello doctor... I am 24 and my husband I have been trying to conceive for 11 months. In Dec, my period was late for 19 days, tests were negative even ultrasound didn t pick up anything. Since then, my cycle has been messed up. I think I am a few days late now. I have this brown discharge which has a bit of an odour to it. And I have sporadic back pain. At times, I feel what seems to be fluttering in my tummy. I have picked up some weight too and I constantly feel tired. Could I be pregnant or could this be a phantom pregnancy?

OB and GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

If you have missed your periods then I suggest you go for a pregnancy test and if it comes negative again then you have to investigate the underlying cause for not conceiving.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Naira Jahangir, OB and GYN Specialist
