What Causes Brown Phlegm And Difficulty To Swallow?
Hello, I am female, 38 years old, 5 Feet 2 inches, 187 pounds, and I have hypertension. I had lost my voice, brown phlegm, and it was painful to swallow it happened end of June. It cleared up. Then 3 days back same thing happened again. Don't know why? I am taking antibiotics again. Why is it happening ?

Brown sputum may be seen in
1. Viral bronchitis.
2. Cystic fibrosis
3. Pneumonia.
4. Lung abscess.
5. Pneumoconiosis etcetera.
