What Causes Brown Spots During Pregnancy?
i am 6 weeks into pregnancy. a day back i spotted brownish light spooting. I rushed to see my doctor and she told me that there was no signs of bleeding. She prescribed me gestin 5 mg allylestrenol tablets 3 times a day.However, today i have the same problem. Do i need to worry about spotting.

Hi, I have gone through your question. Brown spotting during early pregnancy is suggestive of
1. Haemorrhage around the foetus( subchorionic haemorrhage)
2. Missed Abortion
2. Ectopic pregnancy
All three can be diagnosed by ultrasound. So, I suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated and treated.
