What Causes Brown Spots On Left Palm?

I woke up this morning with small brown stains on my left palm and most noticeably on the side of my left index finger. I m not sure what it is I try to wash it but it won t come off. There is no pain or irritation or itching just the presence of these small light brown stains on my hand. I am 18 very active and relatively healthy. What is this?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi, these localised asymptomatic brown stains noticed incidentally may be due to range of causes, like some dyes or something you grasped on with the dye or some insect bites/body fluids etc.
Rest assured, these are temporary and should wane off on their own in 7-10 days.
In case they don't , then i would like you to visit a dermatologist for evaluation.
Thanks
Take care
