What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge During Pregnancy?
I m 38 weeks pregnant and my OB checked me for the first time today. I was dilated to 1, 50 % effaced, and she commented that I could go in to labor any day. Since my appointment I have had small brown flakes as a discharge, I can see it in the toilet and when I wipe. It looks like cinnamon. What s going on?

In my opinion, due to cervical dilatation, light spotting is there which is admixed with mucous discharge and seen as brownish discharge. Dont worry. The finding is normal. If the pain abdomen increased and any leaking seen then you need to consult a doctor. Dont worry.
