Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have experienced a brown liquid vaginal discharge for most of the day. It came on suddenly but has since stopped. I have no pain, although I did have some gastric/intestinal stress for the past three days which I chalked up to a virus of some kind. That is also resolved. I am 73 years old and am concerned about what could cause today s event. I will ssee my gynocologist as soon as possible.
Hello. Thanks for asking on Healthcaremagic. Any post menopausal vaginal bleeding warrants extensive investigation. It could be a trivial infection or an ominous tumor both benign or malignant. You need to see your gyneac who will internally examine you. She might do a pap test and an ultrasound If she sees anything suspicious. Thanks.
