Sofia San: Hello, I m really concerned about my period. I am on the contraceptive pill and take it at the exact same time every night and have not missed a pill for at least 5 months. I began my sugar pill on saturday (24th). This tuesday (19th) I noticed some brown discharge in my underpants, I sometimes get this so I wasn t to concerned at the time, this continued on Wednesday. On thursday the brown discharge became chunky and there was a lot more than usual but again I wasn t too worried. On friday the discharge varied between watery and light brown to the darker brown it had been all week. On saturday I had no noticeable discharge. Yesterday when I wiped there was bright red blood this is when I was most alarmed as this is very unusual for me. It lasted all day only when I wiped and hardly any in my underpants. This morning I have woken up and there is the slight brown discharge again. I am very very worried I could be pregnant.
