What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge?

I had my tubes cut and tied back in dec 2013. My first two months my cycle was in time and very heavy. After that my cycle just stopped and i havent had one in four months and now i am having brown discharge with some light pink in it at times. Its not all day just a little thru out the day and it is not heavy. What could be going on? Also recently found out thay my vitamin d was low. Not sure if that would have anything to do with it.

In my opinion you are havibg hormonal alteration which is causing this altered bleeding .
You need to undergo certain blood tests like LH,FSH, Prolactin , thyroid tests.
Also ultrasound of uterus to see the thickness of uterine lining and ovaries to see for any polycystic changes.
To get proper withdrawl bleeding you need to take tab primolut N 5 mg bd for 5 days.
