What Causes Brown Vaginal Spotting?
Hi, So I know I m probably going to have to just wait and take a test, but I had a little bit of light brown spotting yesterday (a week before my period is due) and I was wondering if it might be implantation bleeding. Sometimes I spot a little right before my period, but never this early, and today there has been nothing at all. I don t have any STDs so I know it s not that, and I m not in any kind of discomfort so I don t think its any kind of infection. Is there any other reason why it would just be for a day this early before my period is due? Thanks!

Hi, I think it can happen due to some hormonal imbalances also. If your pregnancy test is negative, you can take some hormones to regularise the periods and avoid spotting. It happens due to inadequate progesterone level after ovulation.
