What Causes Brownish Color Drainage From Hysterectomy Incision Point?
I had a davinci hysterectomy uterus and ovaries 8 days ago. After surgery I developed a large hematoma, yesterday my belly button incision opened and drained a lot of the hematoma. The Dr used silver nitrate to close the incision and now I have more pain than before icon opened as well as a lot of drainage, soaking through 2 2x2s, one of them folded up in my belly button every 5 hours. Drainage is brownish in color but does not smell bad. I was also put in antibiotics yesterday. Is this normal?
