What Causes Brownish Discharge After C-section Birth?
I had a baby 12 week ago by c section and took a while to heal had regular period since then but my last one it was 13 days long have been off for 7 days and now I am bleeding again but it not flowing like a period and there's brownish discharge aswell any ideas to what it could be or what may be causing it
After delivery it will take some time for the regularization of the reproductive hormones, especially if you are breast feeding the baby, you can see a few months of amenorrhea or irregularity menstrual cycles. Usually in a few months the cycles may regularize. Brown color of the discharge usually indicates the collected blood in the uterus.
If the irregularity persists even after six months of delivery better to consult your gynecologist once and get evaluated. Clinical examination, ultrasound will help in finding the possible cause of the problem and treatment can be taken accordingly.
