What Causes Brownish Vaginal Discharge After Using IUD Coil?
I had been fitted in an IUD coil in September 2014 , since then i had longer periods i.e 12 days and these days, i m feeling brown discharge as well as abdominal and lower back pain. What could be the reason ? Would there be a serious issue or its just a common issue ? I would be grateful if you please get back to me kind Regards, Sara

Hi,
Slight bleeding and discharge may happen after IUD insertion. It’s quite normal and will settle by itself. No definite treatment is required.
If symptoms persist, you can consult a gynecologist and get evaluated.
