What Causes Brownish Vaginal Discharge And Pain?

A week after having sex about two months ago I started to get this weird brown discharge. Then one day out of no where my vagina was in horrible pain. It burned and I head this heavy greenish chunky discharge that would keep coming out when I pushed or used the bathroom. It went away once I had my period and came back two days after my cycle was over. Not as bad but the symptoms where still there. I went to get get tested for clymidia and gonnerea and was told a week later it was negative. But my symptoms where still there. I had clear discharge as well that would come out and it caused irritation and smelled bad. So I went back and the gyno took some swab test and said I had bv and cervitits that same day and prescribed a single dose of azithromycin and A 2x a day for a week metronidazole. I m on my 5 day and it s like it s not helping at all. I m scared I m I have something and might die. I m scared.
