What Causes Brownish Vaginal Discharge While On Flucloxacillin?
I have just started to use Flucloxacillin 500mg antibiotics yesterday and I noticed that I have brown discharge when I wiped. Very alert as I’ve never experienced this before. I’m not on any other medication, so could this be from the antibiotics that I’m using?

Flucloxacillin does not cause vaginal discharge. It might be due to some other causes, like vaginosis or others and it has to be evaluated. Do a vaginal swab to look for conditions, like bacterial vaginosis and thrush. As of now, you can use Clotrimazole vaginal lotion empirically. "V-wash" is a popular brand.
