What Causes Bruise Above Belly Button And Left Midline?
I am two years out from stage 2b renal cell carcinoma. I had a left nephrectomy. Last year a couple of sub 1cm RCC mets showed in my right lung. Three weeks ago; a large 3cm by 4cm bruise approximately 2 inches above the belly button and to the left of the midline showed up. There was no trauma to have caused it. It last most of the past few weeks and is now beginning to fade. Had bloodwork done and was told all was ok with platelets. Regular cans at MD Anderson are in 2 more weeks. SO my questions are 1) if platelets are normal....what caused this and 2) is there a concern that i should try to have scans sooner.
