Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a 6 year old son with a forearm bruise – about 2 inches in diameter with a somewhat raised white bump in the middle. This bump feels like a small hard nodule and can be moved around a little under the skin. He has no fever and does not complain of pain in the area when I push on the bump or the surrounding bruised tissue. Our pediatrician diagnosed simply as a bruise. What is it and how do i treat it?
Hi, It seems that along with bruise there can be having small hematoma localized and encapsulated. Nothing to worry, gradually it will be absorbed. Apply ice pack for few days. Ok and take care.
