I have five bruises that showed up on my outer upper right thigh like the shape of a five on a dice. The middle one is the darkest and after two weeks there is no improvement. I don t recall hitting my leg on anything or bumping something. I just wondered if it could be something more serious going on that I should get checked out. I m having a full hysterectomy done on Thursday and don t know if it has anything to do with my hormones being out of wack. I have hyperpituitaryism as well. Pretty active in walking or jogging so circulation isn t a problem. I have had several headaches the past week and feeling very irritable as well. Any answer or suggestion would be much appreciated. Thank you
As per your case history, you are having a fungal infection called as tinea corporis. My treatment advice is - 1. Maintain good hygiene and bath twice daily. 2. Apply an antifungal cream like Clotrimazole cream twice daily on it. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetirizine twice daily for 7-10 days. 4. Other treatment options are oral Fluconazole, Itraconazole, and Terbinafine is taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
