What Causes Bruising And Itching On My Knee?
Yesterday my knee hurt as if it was bruised but I don t remember hurting my knee and I couldn t see any bruising, when I compared my knees, the knee in question had a lump below the knee about the size of a silver dollar. It just hurt a little but not too bad, I can t kneel on it for example of I can feel it when walking around but it isn t too painful, this morning my knee started itching and the lump is still there and it still feels the same. I am a 37 year old female and I run on the treadmill but only about 10-15 miles a week.

It could be a bruise or contusion. It is nothing but a collection of blood underneath the skin. Nothing much to worry and it will settle by itself. No definite treatment is required either.
