What Causes Bruising On Right Side Mid Torso?

I was in an accident on june 26th. I broke all 12 ribs on my right side and fractured my sternum as well as many other injuries. The bruising went away, but now I am seeing some bruising come back on my right side mid-torso/back area. Is this normal?
