What Causes Bulged Stomach, Back Pain And Frequent Urination During Pregnancy?
I m 36 weeks pregnant in my first pregnancy and have the following stuff going on: My belly has dropped alot, extra discharge (that is also thicker, kind of mucus like i guess), change in bowel movements like wet poo and more trips to the bathroom, feeling restless and urge to tidy and clean, lower back pain alot but not in any pattern just more frequent than normal, high abdomen pain sometimes also not in any pattern just more frequent than normal. I just want to know, what the heck is going on?
Hello, As you are nearing term, the sides of the abdomen or the flanks begin to get full. This can cause the dragging effect on the upper abdomen. The back ache is mostly due to the strain caused by the enlarging uterus and it can also point to onset of prelabor. Your symptoms of increased bowel movement and increased vaginal discharge suggest that the baby has descended down and you could be in prelabor, which is a preparatory stage before the actual onset of labor. Infection of the bowels also should be excluded. Please inform your health care provider for further management. Wish you safe motherhood.
