What Causes Bulging Blue Vein On Nipples Of A Child?
This morning we notice my son had a bulging blue vein on one of his nipples. I barely touched it and a tiny bit of blood came out. I remember he had this when he was a neworn but it never bled then and it just went away. He s 2 now. No idea what could be causing this. Should I be concerned?

It is difficult to comment on the cause without seeing a picture at least. But, if there is no pain or surrounding skin edema or discoloration, we need not worry. Just clean the area and apply an antibiotics cream. It will heal in few days.
