What Causes Bump On Armpit Oozing Pus?
I have a smelly bump under armpit. I places a hot compress on it last week, some smelly pus oozed out. The smell continued, and I went to the doctor. I saw a nurse practitioner and she gave me antibiotics. I have taken them for 5 days now with no change. What should I do? What could this be?

You might have developed furuncles.
These are deep bacterial infections.
Treatment is with antibiotics but the choice of antibiotics should be based on culture and sensitivity tests.
