What Causes Bump On Head And Light Headache After Head Injury?

Hi, I have a question please. Day before yesterday I hit my head in the bottom of the pool while playing. Hit it pretty hard, have a bump on the right side of the head now. Had a light headache all day yesterday and today too. Could it be something serious?

Hi,

First of all, you should do an CT brain and be put under a medical supervision for 24 hours, then you should have a complete bed rest for 3 days and take some painkiller.

The physical examination of your head is crucial in the next few days. If this bump is stable or its size changes. The result of the CT brain and the physical examination can help us with your case.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mustafa, Neurologist
