What Causes Bump On Left Iliac Crest?

I have had three C-sections (1 with uterine rupture), and numerous pelvic surgeries for osteomyelitis. These surgeries have included debriefing, bone grafting, hardware placement, live vein mapping, fusion of my back. I have had more than thirteen surgeries due to infection broken grafts, hardware, and of course, recurrent osteomyelitis. My bladder has been torn twice and there are other renal issues involved surrounding these surgeries. However, my concern is l have noticed three years ago a very hard bone like bump on what is left of my left iliac crest but slightly lower in the pelvis. It has grown quite large (about the size of baseball), and is very painful at times. It is also visible through clothing. This bump is appreciated on physical exam but apparently not on CT or X-Ray. Would scar tissue continue to grow after eight years? Would it show up on CT or X-Ray?
