I noticed a couple of weeks ago that a small bump has developed only on 1 side of my throat. It is only tender when i touch it. In the last 2 days it is now tender in the muscle under the jaw bone and I have some white bister around my lower jaw tooth and pain in the face in front of the ear. Is any of this related since it s all on the same side of my face. Or is just a coincidence.
It could be a pharyngitis or early tonsillitis. Consult a general practitioner and start a short course of antibiotics preferably amoxiclav.
Do warm saline gargles for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist better to consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated. In severe cases a throat swab may be needed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
