What Causes Bump With Discharge Of Puss And Blood?
I noticed a bump around my genital area that ended up discharging puss mixed with blood. It ended up going away and another came but at a different location and with the same results. It slightly hurts when it becomes a bump.... I'm concerned I may have an std??
I will keep a possibility of bacterial infection of the skin and soft tissue i.e furuncle, the infection gaining entry through the hair follicle. If I was the treating doctor I would suggest a course of an oral antibiotic for a week. My choice of an oral antibiotic would be either flucloxacillin or cephalexin for a week. Oral antibiotics are prescription drugs and therefore I suggest you to talk with your doctor for the needful. Topically you may use an OTC topical antibacterial e.g 2% Mupirocin ointment twice daily for a week.
HI Well come to HCM Pyoderma may be likely and this need to be treated with following medicines, take care for hygiene keep the area clean this is nothing to worry because this would come around soon. 1) Tab Amoxicillin with Clavulanic acid twice in day 2) Povidone iodine cream for local application hope this information helps, have a nice day.
