I used veet cream on my vagina area a few hours ago....I developed bumps and redness on the lips of my vagina....It is sore...I am icing it....what can I use to stop the swelling and pain in the quickest way possible. ..how long would it take...I would love to use something now at home if possible

Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Using hair removal creams in genital area is not safe as those areas are more sensitive. If you let the cream for the time more than mentioned also it can cause peeling of skin which is chemical burn. A consultation with a dermatologist is well appreciated in such case. In such case i advise ointments with combination of antibacterial like neomycin and corticosteroid betamethasone. Washing the area with irritants like soaps should be avoided. Instead you can use saline or warm water. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
