General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
The bumps in labia minora since long time could be- root infection of hair root, giving trouble off and on scan be from swollen Bartholin glands. (these are meant to keep vaginal passage smooth &lubricate it also). These can remain inert for many days. But some time may get infected to cause fever, abscess pus drainage, which needs to be treated vigorously to get it healed en root. You should try the part dry and clean. Avoid handling or piercing it, it may disappear over the time.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
