What Causes Bumps In The Vagina After Unprotected Intercourse?

I once had unprotected sec and later got some bumps on vag, they were not sure if itchy but the nurse said it s herpes and got some meds for it. I ve been using condoms since then and it s been 3weeks now but the bumps are instead spreading. 3days after protected sex I noticed a funny odour I don t know what s wrong now because I took my meds as instructed and still using the cream I was given
