What Causes Bumps On The Arms And Legs?

I recently went on vacation in the Florida Keys for 3 days and I thought I had many mosquito bites which is common in the Keys and common for me. I always get bit by mosquitos if there is one around. Since leaving the Keys I found that I have more bumps on my arms and legs so they are not a result of mosquitos. What could that be? I touched squid bait while fishing so I think it may be that. Your thoughts?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per your case history you are having papular urticaria, my treatment advice is -
1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic plus steroid cream like Fusiderm B cream on it.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like Levocetrizine.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
