How can he stop this problem.?
hi, thank you for putting up your query on HCM. as per your history, he has bacterial infection in the form of folliculitis/ furuncle. my treatment advise would be: 1. maintain hygiene. 2. he needs a course of oral antibiotics preferably of cephalosporin group like tab cefixime 200 mg twice a day, if not allergic for 5-7 days. 3. he may take tab levocetrizine 10 mg twice a day for itching and pain killer like tab ibuprofen. 4. he may also apply topical antibiotics like mupirocin cream twice a day. 5. also, ask him not to apply any hair products like hair gel, hair creams as they may aggravate infection. if persistant, consult a doctor nearby for proper treatment. wishing him good health. thank you.
