Hi dr I have two bumps on my uvula not causing any pain or irritation but iam having persistent sore throat ,iam not a smoker I don t have any bad habits but i recently had a exposure with a married woman.the bumps are located right and left side of my uvula.. please help me iam deeply thinking about it...
The bumps are caused by enlarged lymphatic tissue in the tonsils and adenoids, which are pockets of tissue in the back of your throat. This tissue often becomes irritated in response to extra mucus in the throat. I suggest using a throat spray for antibacterial properties. I also suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen in case of pain.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
