What Causes Bumps With Pus On Bottom With Itchy?
I have a small patch of white puss like bumps on my butt crack line and they are itchy. I have had cold sores since I was a little girl and I have always been very careful not to spread them anywhere else on my body. I am scared to death that this is herpes. I am 35 years old married. I can send a picture of what I am talking about. Can you tell me if this can be anything else. Thank you for your time.

Hi.
As per your case history you are having folliculitis.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for pain.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics like cefadroxil and azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
