What Causes Burning And Itching After Applying Hair Dye?

12 months ago i had a partial hysterectomy. Ever since, when i have my hair dyed professionally, my head burns and itches like crazy. I have seen a skin specialist and have been tested for 60+ different things but all allergy tests have come back negative. In addition, i have aged 10 years in the past 12 months. I have had my thyroid tested and this is also normal. could all of my symptons be related to the hysterectomy?

Hello,

I can understand your concern for burning and itching after applying hair dye.

It is not unusual to find such kind of situation where if any products been used for several years causes sudden allergy to the skin. I suggest you to stop dye for a few weeks and shift to natural methods of coloring your hair.

In such kind of circumstances washing your hair with gentle shampoo also helps a lot.

DO not apply the dye to the roots of the hair as can cause hypersensitivity of the skin. So just take care of the same so that there is least of hypersensitivity to the roots and skin.
