About five days ago, I had some itchiness in my vagina due to some irritation. I tried to put cortisone cream on it, which resulted in an incredibly painful burning sensation. I still feel some of that burn occasionally ever since then. Is it possible I've done long term damage?
I think that there may be recurrent fungal infection in vagina , so I would suggest you to apply candid powder locally for 10 days and start tablet levocetizine 10 mg 1 tablet at night for 30 days , after that an antifungal ointment ( ketoconazole ointment ) is required to be applied.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
