What Causes Burning And Stabbing Pain Around The Hole Area During Arousal?
For about a month now, while being aroused I have been having pain around the hole area, and this does not happen when I’m not aroused. The pain can be described as a burning and stabbing pain and this symptom has occurred after attempting sex one time. The pain mimics the pain I felt when my boyfriend tried to put it in halfway. What could be the problem and what are the treatments?
Such pain is commonly caused by compression or irritation of the pudendal nerve. pudendal neuralgia. Postsurgical nerve damage and proctalgia fugax can also cause such symptoms. Tight or spasming pelvic muscles (levator ani syndrome) can lead to sharp pain, especially during arousal or orgasm. Doing pelvic floor exercise helps to get rid of pain.
Anxiety and stress can also trigger such symptoms. Managing stress can relax you & help you get relief from pain. Taking a warm sitz bath and pelvic floor therapy are helpful. If the pain is persistent, severe, or accompanied by bleeding, swelling, discharge, or changes in bowel habits, get clinically examined by a GP for evaluation & treatment.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
