What Causes Burning In Throat After Taking Zoloft?
I took a Zoloft pill with only a small amount of water about 2 hrs ago and then went to bed. I just woke up and now there is a burning feeling in my bottom of my throat/possibly my esophagus for the past 30 minutes. I have tried drinking water and eating a few very small pieces of bread, and even a few sips of hot water but the problem is still there. Any suggestions?
Hello Welcome here. Brief: take tablet pantoprazole.
Details: zoloft can cause gastritis initially for few days. Most probably, your burning feeling in esophagus is due to that. I would suggest you to take antacid table pantoprazole 20mg. Hope this will work for you and your problem would resolve in 30-40 mins.
Thanks.
