Hello
Looking at your description it might be related to acid peptic disease due to stomach hyperacidity.
Another possibility is liver and gall bladder disease like fatty liver, gall bladder stones or pancreatic disease.

In my opinion she should take antiacidity medicines like pantoprazole or ranitidine with antacids for 7 to 10 days with complete avoidance of fatty and spicy food as well as carbonated and caffeinated beverages.

If it doesn't help much or recurs than I would advise her to go for urea breath test for H Pylori infection, serum amylase and lipase test for pancreatitis and CT abdomen if need be.

If you can write back to me with relevant medical history and all the reports so that I will be able to tell you more precisely.
Best wishes
