What Causes Burning, Itching And Redness In Vaginal Area?

Hi I have had vaginal burning itching and pernial redness and pain along with my anus. I was seen by gyn he said yeast but never cultured then 10 days later I was ER with worse pain they did microscope and said yeast put me on 7 days of diflucan then on 13 day came back I again went to doc they then did culture no yeast! Went to specialist he said no yeast but possibly contact dermittis. Gave me steroid cream 2xs a day Redness has gone down on labia but not pernial area. He also said I have no normal Lactobacilli. I m in pain and feel I have no true answer I can t put on any type of clothing I m naked most the day I have missed several days of work

It could be due to superficial fungal infection or bacterial infection.

You can consult a gynecologist and get a vaginal swab done.

As of now, you can use Clotrimazole lotion to cleanse your genitals.
